Positive Images Advisory Board
The Positive Images Advisory Board is working to grow today's Milwaukee-area youth to become tomorrow's civic, academic, professional, entrepreneurial, and business leaders.
Each board member is a distinguished volunteer with a track record of success in his or her respective field and a proven commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of leaders from diverse and under-represented groups.
Victor Nwagbaraocha
Founder & Chairperson
As a former administrator and teacher with over 25 years of experience in the Racine Unified and Milwaukee Public School Districts, Victor is a community-oriented leader with a life-long commitment to education, developing youth and building a stronger Milwaukee community.
Victor originally founded Positive Images in 2000 to respond to the needs of Milwaukee area students who were academically successful, demonstrated leadership potential and civic awareness but had limited exposure to role models and mentors who could support their academic and professional pursuits.

Michael Britton
Board Member
Mike, a Milwaukee native, is founder of Protellus, a Toronto-based digital marketing company supporting small businesses and not-for-profits solving environmental and social sustainability.
Prior to starting Protellus, Mike was a Supply Chain Executive where he most-recently led transformation of global supply-chain business processes for the Healthcare division of GE.
Throughout his 30 year career at GE, Mike consistently championed diversity and employee development through mentoring, coaching and leadership of employee resources groups for African American and LGBT employees.
Steven Brown
Board Member
Stephen is currently the Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader & Sr. HR Business Partner for Leadership Programs at GE Healthcare in Milwaukee.
A graduate of Washington High School, UW Whitewater and Marquette University, Stephen grew passion and commitment for mentoring and developing others through successive human resources roles with increasing responsibility at some of Milwaukee area's best known corporate leaders including M&I Bank, Miller Brewing, SC Johnson and GE Healthcare.
Coral D. Pleas, J.D.
Board Member
CORAL D. PLEAS, J.D. is the owner of PLEAS WILLIAMS, LLC an insurance defense
law firm located in Glendale, Wisconsin. Attorney Pleas brings over 15 years of trial experience to her practice having achieved multiple successful defense trial verdicts in cases throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
As a trial attorney, Attorney Pleas specializes in representing insurance companies and their insureds in cases where either liability and/or damages are in dispute.
In addition to her practice, Attorney Pleas has been a guest lecturer for Business Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Law & Ethics courses at Cardinal Stritch University and Bryant & Stratton College.
Sandra K. Scott
Board Member
Sandra is a former Director from Northwestern Mutual where, over 30 years, she developed as a business leader and diversity champion with a reputation for process improvement, leadership, and people development.
In addition to leading her functional divisions, Sandra was instrumental in founding and growing Northwestern Mutual's African American employee resource group into an important business asset, core to Northwestern Mutual's strategy to attract, retain and promote African Americans.
Sandra also developed and led Northwestern Mutual's African American Women Series specifically targeting leadership and career development for African American women.
